What do
people think of the ASIST programme?
This training was very well presented and obvious that the trainers had a great
knowledge on this topic. Life experiences and well educated and skilled in this
area. The training builds confidence to be able to deliver something like this.

Excellent programme, addresses a ‘taboo’ subject and
allows permission to ‘challenge’. (Wellington)
Highly recommended training; found it to be very useful
and have learnt some very valuable information. I am more prepared now and feel
more confident about helping someone. (Auckland)
In most organisations, this type of workshop is usually
given ‘after’ an event. It is good doing this course as a pro-active initiative
rather than being reactive. (Blenheim)
The workshop was thoroughly engaging and worthwhile...
This is an invaluable new tool in my toolbox. I really feel so much more
equipped now to spot risk and take action. (Kapiti)
I wasn’t interested in this training and had a fear of
putting myself out there to assist someone wanting to attempt suicide. You both
gave me the tools and confidence to do what needs to be done. Thanks.
